Australian iconic event, Teddy Bear Picnic, that raises some much needed funds to support the life-saving work of The Children's Hospital at Westmead, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The Teddy Bear Picnic became everyone's favourite family day out.
This year this family event will be held on Sunday 17 October from 10.30am to 4pm at Rosehill Gardens.
This day will be jam-packed with fun activities for families of all shapes and sizes, for big and little. There will be some awesome themed areas for the first time this year, Adventure Land, Fern Tree Gully and Hundred and One Acre Wood.
Kids will have fun meeting celebrities, face painting, toy testing, they will ride on many rides, will be able to do arts and crafts. There will be organised a special Teddy Bear Clinic, where every child will be able to check the health of theirs beloved teddies by a beary special doctor.
One the centre stage of the Teddy Bears’ Picnic everyone will be able to relax and having fun watching such shows as Lazy Town and Angelina Ballerina and of course the Mutant Ninja Turtle Show specially designed for teenagers.
All the kids carrying their teddies to the picnic will travel free on Cityrail trains or your family can take advantage of the free parking at Rosehill Gardens.
